Blue Monday is just another day. We all have mental health and we need to take steps every day of the year to try and protect it. We should not just be thinking about our mental health on 18th January this year, but on every day of the year. Feeling low and other mental health problems last for more than a day and mental health problems can affect people in different ways on any day of the year.

Create a new daily routine that prioritises looking after yourself. You could try reading more or watching a film, having an exercise routine, trying new relaxation techniques, or find some new to learn about 💫

Following the government announcement on Monday 4t

Following the government announcement on Monday 4th January and in line with the national lockdown restrictions, our Bloom Building and Blossom Haus are sadly closed until a review date on the 1st February to ensure the safety of all our members, mentors and staff.

If you are 17-30 and need support during this time, please visit https://www.opendoorcharity.com/contact-us/ in order to make a self-referral. We will be offering a self-directed, digitised version of our Bazaar programme.

If you are below the age of 17, unfortunately we do not have the capacity or resources to currently facilitate remote support due to running a skeleton staff team. However, referrals into the usual service will resume as soon as we open and encourage you to call us on or after the 1st February.

If you are an existing member, you should have received a call regarding the temporary pause on sessions over this period and recommencing as soon as we can safely reopen.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused during this phase of the pandemic and we are all looking forward to a brighter spring and summer 2021.
