Wirral Foodbank invites you to join us to explore the impact that our social security system has on individuals and families in hardship.
Join us for a lively discussion together with local organisations, community leaders, faith groups and our food bank’s referral partners to discuss how the low rate of Universal Credit is driving hunger and hardship locally, and the urgent need for an Essentials Guarantee to ensure that everyone in our community can afford the essentials. We want to hear your insights from people you support who are struggling to afford the essentials and to discuss our national campaign about Universal Credit.
Refreshments will be provided.
A juicy comedy night arrives at Bloom Building! A double headliner event with TV acts plus support for just £10.
Featuring Josh Jones of 8 Out of 10 Cats and Bethany Black of Doctor Who, this is a bargain of a night.
This event is in association with Open Door, who provide a range of support options, each tailored to specific needs and delivered in a friendly, non-clinical manner.
In collaboration with @future_yard, Wirral’s own @sundablue are coming to Bloom on Sat 28th June for their very first FY headliner.
Made up of Fred Greaves, Harry McKenzie, and Dan Robinson, the friends began working creatively together in the summer of ‘22 and arrived in their current form in the summer of ‘24. Crafting left-field pop songs with a strong dance flavour, they draw influence from house music, funk, disco, ambient and soul. The result is a genre-spanning sound, consistently tied together by an underlying dancefloor-ready groove.
We can’t wait for this one! Omega Nebula’s music ‘takes the most powerful elements of dub reggae and dubstep and rolls them into uplifting, emotionally weighted anthems with a unique sonic identity. Taking influence from the UK sound system scene, dub clubs and bass driven subcultures, their huge sound is heart shaking, their message profound, and their energy invigorating.’
