Get Involved

Volunteer, mentor, and fundraise at Open Door, and discover how you can partner with us.

There are a whole host of ways you can contribute to ODC's mission of offering free, immediate mental health support.

Options include volunteering for as little as one hour per week, hiring our spaces, collaborating with us, and more.

Mentoring

Become a mentor and gain experience in mental support while doing something incredibly rewarding and life-changing for you and others.

Training for mentoring takes place regularly at the Bloom Building, Birkenhead.

We have two wellbeing programmes that you can sign up to mentor for:

The first offer is through Bazaar, for low mood and anxiety, mentoring is open to all ages 18+.

The second offer is through Mysa, for those experiencing disordered eating, mentoring is open to all ages 21+.

No qualifications or professional experience needed, as all the training you need is provided by us before you begin. Sign up to be the first to hear about our next training opportunities!

We're expecting a big influx of new members from November onwards, so we need your help! Become a mentor now and help shape change in mental health.

2/3

Fundraise with Open Door

Fundraise for Open Door - either by running events, as a fundraising volunteer, or through one of our partnered events around the globe, and you can help keep our support free, fast, and effective.

3/3

Volunteer at OOMOO

Support and encourage members to engage in activities by supporting OOMOO staff to run inspiring wellbeing sessions with Children Looked After.

Through one-to-one interactions and group settings, OOMOO volunteers will have meaningful conversations with members and participate in OOMOO activities including sports, arts, music, and other wellbeing activities.

Open to all ages 21+. Email marika@opendoorcharity.com for more information, and sign up below.

Partner With Us

Could you remotely deliver our programmes?

By partnering with organisations and academic institutions, together, we can reach even more young people and adults to offer support that works for them.

Partnerships can include our flagship mental health support programme, Bazaar, the opportunity to deliver new programmes, such as Mysa, focused support on staff teams, signposting networks, research opportunities and more.
